Ciputat, 29 August 2025 - FAH Online News, Introduction to Academic and Student Culture or better known as PBAK is back as the initial gate of the new student journey at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, including in the Library Science Study Program. This year, PBAK of Library Science Study Programme 2025 carries an inspirational theme "The Awakening Collection: Rise Of The Knowledge Guardians", which reflects the spirit of the new students as a generation of knowledge guardians who are ready to grow and develop in the campus environment. The event that took place on Friday, 29 August 2025 was held in the Multipurpose Room on the 1st Floor of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. A total of 174 new students attended and followed the series of events with enthusiasm. Not only a welcoming event, PBAK Library Science Study Programme 2025 is also a means of socialisation regarding the identity of the study programme, academic scope, and self-development opportunities that can be explored from students in the future.

The PBAK event of the 2025 Library Science Study Programme went smoothly and lively. Attended by several important guests, including Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation (Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A., M.A., Ph.D.), Head of Library Science Study Programme (Mrs Siti Maryam, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum.), Secretary of Library Science (Mrs Hikmah Irfaniah, M.Hum.), not to forget the lecturers present to provide valuable material, one of which is Mr Muhammad Azwar S.Pd.I, M.Hum. related to the material "Use of AI in the World of Lectures". This material provides new insights into the use of artificial intelligence to support academic activities in the digital era. An enthusiastic welcome was also delivered by the chairman of the Library Science Study Program Student Association (HMPS) and the chief executive of the Introduction of Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) of the Library Science Study Program 2025.

Last but not least, this year's PBAK group division used typical names of the archive and literacy world such as Akarasa, Litera, Scripta, Memoria, Indexia, Arkivus, Nadataka, Bitara, Codexa, Lumina, and Datawara. Before the closing of the event, each of the groups displayed their creativity by performing their signature chants. Cheers of enthusiasm coloured the nanmu room because there were time constraints, the committee divided it into two sessions that would be continued the next day. The event was closed with a prayer and closing from the MC.

New students of Library Science Study Program are directed by the department committee to return to follow the series of PBAK activities of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities that have been scheduled and closed in the afternoon. The implementation of PBAK 2025 Library Science Study Program cannot be separated from the dedication of all committees who work with full responsibility and support from various related parties. The enthusiasm of the participants made this activity lively and exciting. More than just a welcoming event, PBAK is expected to be the starting point for the birth of a new generation of Library Science Study Program students who are ready to develop their potential, maintain scientific traditions, and contribute to realising the vision of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
