FAH Sends 6 Representatives in Social Media Optimization at UIN Jakarta, Chancellor Encourages Strengthening Public Relations Human Resources
South Tangerang, FAH Online News – Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta actively participates in Social Media Optimization activities organized by the UIN Jakarta Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) on Friday, December 12 2025. This activity, which took place in the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Diorama Room, aims to increase capacity and strengthen social media management in the campus environment.
FAH sent six of its best representatives to take part in the event which took place from 08.00 WIB until the end. Three of the six representatives are FAH students who are undergoing an internship program at the UIN Jakarta Information and Public Relations Center (PIH), showing a strong synergy between the faculty's academic activities and practical public relations experience.
The event opened with a series of important remarks, including from Plt. Head of Information and Public Relations Center Dr. Deden Mauli Darajat, S.Sos.I., M.Sc., and Chairman of LP2M Prof. Amelia Fauzia, Ph.D. The peak of the opening was marked by remarks from the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar MA, Ph.D.
In his remarks, the Chancellor gave a strong impetus to strengthening public relations human resources at the faculty level, particularly through the internship route.
"Strengthen Public Relations in each Faculty by interning, at least 5 people in the faculty. "God willing, we will become more famous, more famous, and will continue to move forward," stressed Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar.
The activity then continued with two sessions of main material at the first session, material entitled "Optimizing Social Media UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta for Open Public Information and Public Relations" was presented by Intan Widiastuti, S.Kom.I., First Expert Public Relations Institution of the Communication and Public Information Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation.
Then followed by a second session with the theme "Digital Storytelling Strategy for Content on Social Media," delivered by Content Creator, Dhimas Sugian (Brodhimsu).
At the end of the event, the UIN Jakarta Information and Public Relations Center Intership Student Onboarding and Offboarding Ceremony was also held, where three internship students from FAH were also an important part of the ceremonial moment.
The presence of FAH representatives is expected to internalize the latest strategies in digital storytelling and social media optimization, in line with the Chancellor's direction to strengthen faculty public relations to support UIN Jakarta's vision as a campus that is superior and has an international reputation
