Catalyst Cabinet Officially Inaugurated, HMPS English Literature FAH Ready to Echo Innovation
South Tangerang, FAH Online News — The English Literature Study Program Student Association (HMPS) officially started the 2025 management period with an inauguration and work meeting which took place on Tuesday, 07/22/2025, at the Abdul Ghani Theater, 5th Floor, Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
This activity opened solemnly with the inauguration procession of the new management who were members of the Catalyst Cabinet, led by Muhammad Djuang Addhien Munir as Chairman and Zahra Safira as Deputy Chairman. The inauguration was led directly by the Deputy Dean III of FAH, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., MA. (Leiden), M.A. (Duke), Ph.D., witnessed by members of the academic community and representatives of student organizations.
Also present at this activity was the Deputy Head of the English Literature Study Program, Mr. M. Agus Suriadi, S.Pd., M.Hum., as well as Chair and Deputy Chair of SEMA and DEMA Faculties, Chair and Deputy Chair of the Demissionary of HMPS English Literature, and all HMPS members for the 2025 period.
In his remarks, the representative of the study programme expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm and dedication of the new officers. This inauguration is not just a form of formal legality, but also an initial milestone in starting a new organizational wheel with a collaborative and innovation-oriented spirit.
Carrying the theme "Catalyst of Change: Strengthening Our Voice Through Cultivating Innovation", the HMPS work meeting became a venue for presenting work programs by each department head. The exposure was presented systematically with the help of visual media, followed by discussion and question and answer sessions. Demissioners also provide strategic input to strengthen program planning and sustainability.
The event went smoothly and participatively. Despite experiencing few technical problems, participants' enthusiasm remained high throughout the activity. Joint prayers and documentation sessions serve as the conclusion that symbolically marks the start of the Catalyst Cabinet's term of service.
With the new spirit that has been promoted, HMPS English Literature is committed to being a catalyst for change amidst campus dynamics. The Faculty of Adab and Humanities positively welcomed this step as part of strengthening students' adaptive, critical and innovative character.
