Arabic Language and Literature Department PBAK Concludes the 2026 UIN Jakarta PBAK Series

South Tangerang, FAH Online – The 2026 Academic and Student Culture Orientation (PBAK) series at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta concluded with the PBAK organized by the Arabic Language and Literature Department on Friday, August 29, 2026. The event provided an opportunity for new students to become familiar with the academic environment, their field of study, and opportunities for personal development within the department.

The event began with remarks from the Vice Dean III, Prof. Dr. Usep Abdul Matin, followed by presentations from the Head of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program, Dr. Minatur Rokhim, M.Ag., and the Secretary of the Study Program, Mugy Nugraha, M.Si. They provided an overview of academic life while motivating new students to prepare themselves for their university journey.

Next, Dr. Cahya Buana, M.A., and Irfan Abu Bakar, M.Ag., delivered sessions on language and linguistics. The sessions introduced students to the academic disciplines they would study, including linguistics as a foundation for understanding language from a scientific perspective. The students' perspectives were further broadened through an entrepreneurship session led by Pratama Hermansyah, S.Hum., an alumnus of the Arabic Language and Literature Department. He shared his experiences and encouraged students to identify opportunities and develop their potential both during and after their studies.

The series concluded with a Show Your Talent session featuring the creativity of the new students. In addition to serving as a platform for self-expression, the session helped strengthen camaraderie among students as members of the Arabic Language and Literature Department community.

By combining academic orientation, entrepreneurship insights, and creative activities, the PBAK of the Arabic Language and Literature Department marked an important first step for new students as they began their university life with enthusiasm for learning, readiness for growth, and a strong sense of togetherness.
